Infrared photography in my neighborhood
These pictures were taken at a nearby park using a modified Nikon D800 (modified to allow near infrared light)
The mysterious Nikon MF-2
Very little is known about this rare Nikon film back. This large accessory was dubbed “Mighty Joe Young” by a website. The MF-2, known by the Nikon name EX-750, take a 100 foot bulk film role, enabling the photographer to take 750 full-frame (36x24mm) shots.
The back was available by special order only, and cost a small fortune. Due to the high cost, and limited use, it is estimated by another website that less than 20 units were sold in the US
