She is survived by her father Gary Alan Clemmons & mother Sarah Marmon Clemmons of Vidor; soul-mate Kurt Simmons of Kirbyville; son Korbin Simmons of Kirbyville; daughter Kamble Simmons of Kirbyville; and sisters Casandra Clemmons of Vidor and Christina FLorez of San Antonio. She is preceded in death by her husband Gordon Stewart. A life-long resident of Jasper, he worked at Majestic Marble for many years. Jeannie returned to Jasper in 1998 after an extensive illness where she lived in Long-term care until her death. He is survived by his brothers Frankie Jack Ogden Jr. & wife Stella Lynette of Brookeland, Bruce Ogden of Quinlan, Texas, and Roger Ogden of San Diego, California; sisters Anna Jill Fondren & husband Larry of Athens and Vickie Gernon of Doucette; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He passed away peacefully in his sleep into the Presence of The Lord Jesus Christ on June 16, 2021 at Avalon Place nursing home in Kirbyville, after many struggles with various and challenging illnesses. He served three years active duty in Bamberg, Germany and two years inactive. She is also survived by her Sister, Mary Sue Attaway of Mabank, Texas and brother, Edwin Barkley Smith and wife Frances of Houston, Texas.
